We are delighted to announce that Blake Beckford has been shortlisted for Business Person of the Year at the 2017 Pride of Stratford Awards.
The nomination is jointly held with fellow Bladder and Bowel Community Director, Ian Hancock, with the winner being announced on Friday 3rd February 2017 at the Crowne Plaza.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to be nominated for this award and it’s great that the work that Bladder & Bowel are carrying out is being so highly recognised in Stratford as well as the wider community.” commented Blake.
He continued, “We’ve already achieved so much in such a short space of time; the revamp of the ‘Just Can’t Wait’ toilet cards just the start. We’ve got some exciting partnership agreements to announce in the coming weeks which will provide some real benefits to the community we have here.”
The nomination comes off the back of a very busy few months for the duo who with the help of digital agency, Miromedia, have been developing relationships within the local community.
“We’ve been working incredibly hard over the last few months and 2017 is going to be a huge year for us. There is some strong competition in our category for the Pride of Stratford award, so even if we don’t win, it’s an incredible achievement to be shortlisted and recognised at this early stage”. said Blake.
We’ll keep you updated with how we get on at the awards and if you want to join in the conversation on Twitter, don’t forget to use the hashtag #prideofstratford.
Finalists in every category were announced on the 102 & 107.3 Touch FM breakfast show on the 20th December with the full list available to view here.
